We continue to grow and develop through diversification of project types we pursue. We are always looking to forward the careers of everyone on our team.The PositionWe are looking for a new team member who can quickly be trained to initially support the team with current requirements as well as grow into independent management of construction projects. Our intention is to immediately integrate this hire into the processes and strategies we utilize to execute oversight of construction projects to appropriately provide the tools for success. If you are someone who can bring attention to detail, likes being of high value to customers, and wants to be on a team of people who look out for each other, this may be the perfect place to expand your career opportunities The candidate will interact directly with the Cresa Portland project management and leadership team and have the opportunity to engage with other advisors and colleagues across our global platform.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupport the project management team including sourcing and interfacing with contractors, architects, vendors, landlords and tenants.Coordinate and facilitate general design and construction activitiesLead in the preparation of project budget, scheduling and capital improvement projectionsParticipate in the management of the design process from conceptual design through construction administration and move-inTrack and manage insurance, lien waivers, budget updates, schedule updates for project management team and clientsVendor scope document creation, including data cabling, security, audio/visual, etc.Be capable of the preparing of the following:Preliminary budget reports and analysesRFP responsesUpdating / creation of existing and new marketing materialsDevelop draft client agreementsTrack project requirements in Salesforce including opportunities and active/closed projectsMonthly project invoice packagesSupport in the competitive team member selection process inclusive of architect, engineer, general contractor, specialty consultants and owner vendors including data cabling, security, AV, furniture, etc.Prepare and coordinate vendor request for proposal documents, review proposals and input data for comparison.Prepare and monitor cost estimates, budget updates, change order reportsAttend weekly project meetings when requested and assist in developing meeting minutesAssist with the development of project reportsParticipate in leads tracking and marketing supportQualificationsMinimum of two (2) years of design, project management, and/or construction related experienceMinimum of an Associate’s degree, preferably in architecture, development, construction management, project management, facilities management, engineering or related fieldDemonstrate understanding of general design and construction terminology and processesExceptional organizational skills requiredExcellent analytical, communication, collaboration and organizational skills requiredAbility to work on multiple projects with multiple personnel and multiple deadlinesProcess oriented skills requiredGood communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and construction communityMust be a motivated self-starter with the ability to establish goals and objectives and meet varied workload requirementsAbility to work well under pressure and adhere to deadlines are skills utilized on a daily basisExcellent computer skills required, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, Smartsheet and Salesforce and Blue BeamMust possess a "client first" mindsetAdditional ConsiderationsFull-Time Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision)On-site401(k) with company matchTraining and Career DevelopmentPaid Time-OffSalary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 annually
