Server

Seeking an experienced server for a busy restaurant and bar. The Cobble Stone is a family-run establishment with a long history in the Purchase, NY area. As a server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving meals and handling customer requests. You should possess good knowledge of food and beverage items and excellent customer service skills in a casual, yet fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include: - Communicating with customers to provide food and beverage requests. - Supporting and assisting the front-of-house manager and bartender serving guests according to the service protocol and providing a pleasant experience. - Serving food, beverages and garnishes in compliance with all safety, sanitation standards, quality and quantity requirements. - Providing friendly, courteous service that exceeds the expectations of our guests. - Maintaining a clean, safe, organized and efficient work space. - Maintaining knowledge of all the menu, including daily specials. - Collecting payments from patrons. - Ensuring proper sanitation practices in all areas of the restaurant. - Reporting any maintenance problems or repairs to manager or supervisor.
