Electrical Test Engineer II (Kent)

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Test Engineer II to support integrated system testing of launch vehicles, with a focus on electrical subsystems critical to human spaceflight missions.In this role, you'll work across multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure system performance, reliability, and test readiness from ground testing through flight campaigns.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, develop, and execute integrated system tests for launch vehicle electrical subsystemsDesign and support data acquisition (DAQ) systems for accurate measurement and test analysisDevelop and maintain Python scripts for test automation, data collection, and post-processingCollaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineers on test plans and proceduresTroubleshoot electrical and DAQ issues during test executionAnalyze test data, document results, and provide design improvement recommendationsSupport ground and flight test campaigns while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standardsMaintain clear documentation for test setups, procedures, and results for review and audit purposesQualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field5+ years of experience in electrical test engineering (aerospace or similar industry preferred)Hands-on experience with data acquisition systems (DAQ), instrumentation, and control systemsProficiency in Python for automation, data processing, and scriptingStrong understanding of system-level testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysisExperience working in multidisciplinary engineering environmentsStrong analytical, communication, and documentation skillsAbility to work onsite in Kent, WAAbout Hansell Tierney:Hansell Tierney is one of the premier staffing and recruiting companies in the Pacific Northwest.
