We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, American-made parts through strong processes, continuous improvement, and a commitment to doing things the right way. Position Overview Ideal Candidate: Current college student pursuing Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related degree. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Intern to support process improvement, data analysis, and operational efficiency initiatives across the business.This role is designed to go beyond observation—this intern will work directly with our engineering and operations team on real-world projects that impact production, inventory management, and internal systems. Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Improvement & OperationsConduct time studies and analyze shop floor processes to identify efficiency improvementsSupport initiatives to improve workflow, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance production visibilityInventory & Material Flow OptimizationAnalyze current inventory processes and material flowAssist in developing improved tracking systems to increase accuracy and real-time visibilitySupport efforts to reduce shortages and improve production planningData & Workflow AutomationEvaluate existing data entry processes and identify opportunities for automationHelp implement process improvements to reduce manual input and improve data accuracyOperational Data & Job CostingBuild and refine Excel-based tools to support job costing and operational analysisAssist in identifying inefficiencies and providing insights to improve quoting and production decisionsSystems & DocumentationImprove organization and accessibility of internal files and workflows within SharePointAssist in creating and maintaining documentation for internal processes and proceduresEngineering Support (As Needed)Provide general engineering support including basic CAD work, troubleshooting, and project assistanceSupport prototyping and process development efforts for new equipment (e.g., laser system), as needed What You’ll Work OnThis internship is project-driven.
