Title: Contract RecruiterDepartment: Talent AcquisitionLocation: Santa Clara, CA - ONSITEType: Contract for 1+ yearPay Rate: $47-$50/hr.Shift: M-F, 8AM-5PM or 9AM-6PMSummaryThe Contract Recruiter will partner closely with hiring managers, HRBPs, and business leaders to drive full-cycle recruiting for engineering roles in a fast-paced semiconductor environment. This position requires strong technical sourcing skills, a consultative approach, and the ability to manage multiple high-priority requisitions simultaneously.ResponsibilitiesFull-Cycle RecruitingManage end-to-end recruitment for Process Engineering and Product Engineering roles across SPG. Conduct detailed intake meetings to understand technical hiring needs and team objectives. Build effective sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive engineering talent. Sourcing & Pipeline Development Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, engineering networks, talent communities, referrals, industry events, and specialized semiconductor channels. Develop and maintain strong pipelines for critical skill areas such as:Semiconductor process development Deposition, etch, CMP, metrology Hardware and product development Data analysis and yield improvement Candidate ManagementScreen for technical competencies, problem-solving ability, semiconductor tool knowledge, and culture fit. Guide candidates smoothly through the interview and offer process. Maintain a high-touch experience for all candidates. Hiring Manager & Stakeholder PartnershipAdvise hiring managers on market insights, talent availability, job content, and competitive positioning. Provide weekly updates on pipeline health, challenges, and opportunities. Collaborate with workforce planning, compensation, and HR operations teams to ensure seamless hiring execution. Recruiting OperationsManage requisitions, interview feedback, and candidate progression in Workday and Eightfold. Ensure compliance with all company, federal, and state hiring policies. Track recruiting metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives. QualificationsRequired5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferred experience is semiconductor, hardware, or complex engineering roles. Demonstrated success sourcing Process Engineering and/or Product Engineering talent preferred. Experience working in a highly technical environment with multiple stakeholders. Strong communication, prioritization, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS platforms (Workday strongly preferred). PreferredExperience recruiting within a semiconductor OEM, fab, or advanced manufacturing environment is a plus Understanding of semiconductor process modules (Deposition, Etch, CMP, PVD/CVD, etc.) is a plus Ability to interpret technical resumes and assess engineering competencies.
