Job OverviewGL Power is seeking an experienced and driven Branch Manager to lead our Exeter, NH location. This position is responsible for overseeing branch operations, driving sales growth, managing inventory and expenses, leading employees, and ensuring excellent customer service. The Branch Manager will play a key role in supporting our marine industrial products and off-highway parts and service business.This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with strong mechanical or technical experience, sales leadership skills, and the ability to manage daily branch operations in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise inside sales, outside sales, service technicians/mechanics, and office staffDrive branch sales growth and profitabilityWork directly with customers alongside the sales team to develop and maintain strong relationshipsManage branch expenses, including purchasing, margins, discounts, and service profitabilityMaintain accurate inventory levels and coordinate with corporate headquarters on branch assets and systemsEnsure branch safety, cleanliness, security, and compliance with company standardsSupport workforce planning, employee development, and team performanceProvide input to executive leadership for business planning and operational improvementsBuild and maintain strong vendor and customer partnershipsQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferredMinimum 5 years of mechanical, technical, or supervisory experienceMinimum 2–3 years of experience in customer support, inside sales, or branch operationsMinimum 2–3 years of leadership experience managing teams of 10 or more employeesIndustry experience in marine, industrial, heavy equipment, or off-highway products preferredStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsFinancial and operational management experienceAbility to make sound decisions and lead in a fast-paced environmentStrong customer service and relationship-building abilitiesProduct and warranty knowledge is a plusSkills & CompetenciesLeadership and team developmentSales and negotiation skillsFinancial analysis and expense managementPlanning and organizational skillsWritten and verbal communicationSafety and environmental awarenessStrong attention to detailComputer proficiencyWorking ConditionsCombination of office, warehouse, and shop floor environmentsOccasional after-hours customer support may be requiredAbility to manage multiple priorities and supervise branch personnelFrequent computer and administrative workWhat We OfferCompetitive salaryBenefits packageCareer growth opportunitiesSupportive team environmentOpportunity to lead a growing branch operationGL Power is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
