InnerSourced Solutions, Inc in Southern Maryland (Waldorf) may a perfect internship site for graduate level students seeking a degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or other human services related fields with an interest in mental health. We are committed to the training of students by providing opportunities for meaningful learning experiences.Second year students will provide individual and family psychotherapy to adults, adolescents, or children, in the home, community, school, or office, as determined by the needs and/or desires of the client and/or legal guardian for ten (10) clients. Applicants must be willing to commit to 20 hours per week on site, regardless of graduate school program requirements and be available for weekly clinical supervision during traditional business hours.This is an UNPAID position BUT a stipend may be provided contingent upon performance!Qualifications:Must be currently enrolled in an accredited graduate level behavioral health programMust have completed Psychopathology, as well course work related to Clinical Diagnoses and Treatment PlanningMust be willing to submit to and pass federal, state and Child Protective background checkMust obtain and provide proof of student malpractice insuranceAbility to obtain or show proof of current CPR and First Aid CertificationMust commit to a minimum of 1 evening per weekWe would love to speak to you about joining us if: You are a talented graduate student with 1-year experience providing psychotherapyYou can develop effective therapeutic alliances while maintaining appropriate professional boundariesYou take initiative, are skilled in time management, problem solving, crisis intervention and multitasking as part of a therapeutic teamYou work well with diverse populationsYou have an ability to work collaboratively with Agency staffYou have basic knowledge of mental health diagnoses (psychopathology), treatment modalities, DSM-5 Criteria and terminologyYou have strong communication and writing skills
