Our mission is to serve the needs of our customers, today and tomorrow, with products and services that exceed expectations for performance and environmental responsibility.People • Customers • TrustThis position is responsible for keeping all tractor-trailers in proper operating condition and for keeping "down time" to a minimum as a result of any malfunction.Responsibilities include:Lubing and greasingChanging coolant, oil and filterRepairing and replacing lightsGeneral inspection of equipmentChanging fittingsInspecting and replacing bearingsRepairing electrical problems, air leaks and ABS systemsTest drive equipment and taking trucks/trailers to repair shop as neededOther duties as necessary. May do some diagnostic work with supervision.The successful candidate will be dependable, safety conscious, have consistent on-time performance, strong customer service skills, and the ability to follow instructions.Basic Qualifications :Must have a high school diploma or GED1+ yrs. experience in truck/trailer repair and maintenance.Must have own hand tools.Preferred Qualifications:Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSHourly rate: $18.10 to $26.58, DOE.Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision – and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan.
