**This role is onsite 1 day a week in Ashburn, VA.

HOW A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER ASSOCIATE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Contract requires US Citizenship.
CANDIDATE MUST BE LOCAL TO THE DMV and able to work in the Ashburn, VA office.
How you'll make an impact:
Seeking a Junior Software Developer with at least 3 years of experience to join our team.
Java development experience, Java 8 and higher
Experience developing against relational databases and solid SQL querying skills
Experience of programming frameworks like Spring or Angular
Experience with web services development – SOAP/REST
Experience of UI development
Experience writing automated unit tests
Knowledge/experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git and AWS
Experience working on an Agile Team
Ability to obtain a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Public Trust Suitability (takes 4-6 weeks)
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience
Required Technical Skills: Java development experience, Java 8 and higher, Spring or Angular, SOAP/Rest
Security Clearance Level: CBP Public Trust Suitability

Salary and Benefit Information
The likely salary range for this position is $70,658 - $80,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
