Certified Phlebotomy Technician

Phlebotomist Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Phlebotomists to support the Modesto Outpatient Clinic located at 1225 Oakdale Road, Modesto, CA 95355. The schedule is typically Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm, no weekends or holidays. To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers' success as if it is their own.Responsibilities Verifying patient identity using two identifiersPerforming venipunctures and collecting properly labeled specimensProcessing specimens for testing or shipmentPerforming waived and/or non-waived testingReviewing clinician orders in the VA systemMaintaining professional, compassionate interactions with patients and staffPromoting a cooperative work environmentQualifications Must hold a current California Certified Phlebotomy Technician certificateMinimum of 1 year of direct patient care experience performing venipunctures in a clinic or hospital settingProof of current (within 1 year) tuberculosis (PPD) testing, rubella testing, and immunizationsNo health or physical restrictions that interfere with job dutiesMust comply with OSHA bloodborne pathogen standards and CDC/HICPAC infection control guidelinesNo sponsorship availablePay Range: $23.56- $28.49 hourlyAll candidates must be able to:Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shiftLift up to 50 lbs from floor to waistLift up to 20 lbsCarry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distancePush/pull with 30 lbs of forceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
