This position is for an experienced digital designer interested in excellent personal and professional growth opportunities.ResponsibilitiesYou will architect, design and collaborate on radio subsystems in small geometry mixed-signal CMOS SOCs. Your role will be a contributor and people manager of architecture and design in digital, including: Full chip/block level architecture, RTL design and implementation Design-for-Test implementation Emulation, modelling, simulation, silicon testing and debugging of digital circuits and SOCs Creating and managing team commitments, schedules, milestones, and deliverables. This includes setting and managing digital design and IP infrastructure, and flows across different tools Providing technical leadership and expertise in all aspects of digital design and implementationYou will lead a team to work closely with your counterparts in analog, RF and firmware design to ensure functional and performance requirements are met by the subsystem. Your expertise in low power SOC design, signal processing, processor cores and ASIC implementation will make you a key member of the design group.Required Experience And SkillsProven track record of exceptional performance in firmware design15+ years (BSEE), 12+ years (MSEE) or 8+ years (PhD) of relevant industry experienceExperience in people management and developmentExperience with radio design in ASICsExperience in implementation with Verilog and System VerilogExperience in architectural modeling in Matlab/PythonExperience in producing detailed technical reports and documentationExperience in Real-time data processing systems and Audio signal processingExperience in creating and managing team commitments, schedules, milestones, and deliverablesFamiliarity with Audio performance concepts (SNR, THD, SINAD, DR, etc.)Familiarity with standard interfaces (SPI, I2S, PDM, PWM, USB, etc.)Familiarity with wireless protocols (Wi-Fi, BLE, BT, MAC/PHY)Familiarity with wireless different processors (ARM, HiFi, RISC-V)Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirementsAbility to be a technical anchor and mentor for team membersProfessional, open, and highly self-motivated attitudeThe typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $143,000 - $286,400 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
