Job Title: Assistant Operations Manager - Juniper Roof Top RestaurantThe Assistant Operations Manager supports the Operations Manager in overseeing the daily operations of a high-end, elevated dining restaurant. This role plays a critical part in ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining refined service standards, and driving operational efficiency. The Assistant Operations Manager is a hands-on leader who helps execute service excellence, supports team development, and ensures consistency across all aspects of the restaurant.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in managing all front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure smooth and efficient service executionAct as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Operations Manager, maintaining full operational oversightSupport daily opening and closing procedures, ensuring readiness and adherence to standardsEnsure compliance with brand standards, policies, and proceduresLead by example in delivering exceptional, personalized guest serviceProactively engage with guests to enhance their dining experience and build loyaltyAddress guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating when necessaryMonitor guest feedback and assist in implementing service improvementsSupervise and support supervisors and hourly associates during serviceAssist in training, coaching, and mentoring team members to uphold elevated service standardsReinforce a culture of accountability, professionalism, and hospitality excellenceParticipate in pre-shift meetings and ongoing training initiativesEnsure adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation regulationsMaintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and facility upkeepSupport inventory management, ordering processes, and proper product handlingEnsure consistency in service, food presentation, and overall ambiancePartner with culinary leadership to maintain seamless communication between front and back of houseMonitor service flow and make real-time adjustments to optimize efficiencyEnsure adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation regulationsMaintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and facility upkeepSupport inventory management, ordering processes, and proper product handlingEnsure consistency in service, food presentation, and overall ambiancePartner with culinary leadership to maintain seamless communication between front and back of houseMonitor service flow and make real-time adjustments to optimize efficiencyQualifications1-3 years of restaurant or hospitality supervisory or management experience, preferably in an upscale or high-volume environmentStrong knowledge of food, beverage, wine, and service standardsDemonstrated leadership ability with a hands-on, team-oriented approachExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environmentFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysAuro Hotels is an Equal Employment Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.
