To be an essential line of communication to production associates.Required Education And ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalentExperience with Transfer Presses and Progressive/Hand Transfer PressesExperience with Atlas and HMS Transfer AutomationExperience with set-up and die change;Team Leader experience.Experience in a manufacturing environment preferredComputer proficiency;Basic Math proficiency;Read and write proficiently in EnglishKnowledge of IATF 16949Knowledge of ISO 14001: 2015Essential FunctionsPerforms activities and duties of the Production Associate position;Assists production supervisor with leading, directing, training, assigning and monitoring the activities of the shift;Ensures effective utilization of resources and people;Provides feedback to production supervision about production opportunities, problems or issues;Communicates with production supervision, employees and other departments to ensure work is completed according to schedule;Provides training to employees;Audits processes, procedures and documentation;Monitors the quality of products using measuring tools, gauges and fixtures;Participates in investigation, containment, disposition and documentation of non-conforming product;Maintains records and documentationPhysical Demands/ Work EnvironmentConstant communication with employees, peers, and management.Frequent distractions and interruptionsMultiple demands in a challenging and fast paced- team orientated environmentNoisy environmentOvertime as required.Office, Plant floor Travel as requiredHealth And SafetyCompliance with Occupational safety sections of Act.Must report all accidents and near misses to your SupervisorMust work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Company Rules, Plant Rules, policies and procedures.Must use or wear equipment, protective devices or certain clothing as required by the company.Must wear all designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
