Join Our Dynamic Interventional Radiology Team Job Description: - Unit: 102-1300-11206 – IR TECH - Profession: Radiology / Cardiology - Specialty: Interventional Radiology - Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) - Years of Experience Required: 1 year in Neuro and Stroke experience in IR with scrub experience preferred. - Charting System: Preferred - Epic - Teaching and Community Hospital Experience: Preferred - Trauma Level I Experience: Preferred - Travel Experience Required: Yes Certifications: - Required: - BLS - ARRT (R) - Preferred: - ARRT Advanced Cert* Skill Set: - Required Skills: - Experience in Neuro/Stroke and Body procedures - Inpatient hospital experience - Proficiency in PACS and contrast - All IR procedures including: - Stents - Angioplasty - Angiograms - Nephograms - Kyphoplasty - Peripheral interventions - Biopsies - Drainages - Upper and lower extremity procedures - Abdomen and pelvis studies - Genitourinary studies - Vascular studies - Venous access - Equipment Experience: - Required: Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment - Preferred: Acuson Job Details: - Schedule: First shift with staggered start time between 07:00 and 08:30 for 4x10 hours/day (M-F). - Call Requirement: - Weekends and evenings/nights on call rotation - Primary and backup call rotation - Patient Age Groups: Majority Adults and Geriatrics, with some Adolescents. - Daily Case Load: 13-17 procedures. Special Procedures / Unit Details: - Required skill in both Neuro (including stroke intervention) and Body procedures. - Hospital orientation required in the first week; traveler must be available for classes each day. - Scrubs will be provided.
