Staff Software Engineer, Qualcomm AI Runtime
Overview
In this role you will design and build high-performance software for the Qualcomm AI Runtime SDK, enabling on-device GenAI and Agentic AI inference across devices. You will optimize model execution on Hexagon DSPs, collaborate with global teams, and shape deployment strategies for GenAI workloads. You’ll contribute to tooling and workflows for chip design and system analysis while improving software quality. This position offers impact on consumer devices and industrial platforms alike.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop high-performance C++17 software for the Qualcomm AI Runtime SDKOptimize GenAI model execution on-device using Hexagon DSPs for latency and power efficiencyLead new features for the Qualcomm AI Runtime SDK and coordinate with cross-functional teamsGuide deployment designs for GenAI models and participate in system-model analysesUtilize cross-compiler toolchains for Android, embedded Linux, Windows on Snapdragon, and QNXImplement and optimize ML operations with modern C++17 on Hexagon DSP systemsContribute to GenAI tooling/workflows for chip design and system analysisParticipate in software quality process improvements
