They may be subject to change at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.Required Knowledge and Skills:Excellent knowledge and ability to use analytical and problem-solving techniques to maximize profitability and achieve positive results.Strong critical thinking, problem solving, analysis and spreadsheet capabilities are essential components.Proven ability to manage processes, complete tasks and produce deliverables efficiently.Must have strong independent thinking and decision making skills.Ability to communicate effectively both verbally, graphically and in writing.Knowledge and ability to use Deltek Vantagepoint, MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and facilitating virtual meetings.Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize tasks as needed to complete within the identified time frame.Proficiency in contract administration, additional services management & collections resolution as it relates to our consulting partners.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Mentor and support Project Accountants to ensure accuracy of input of project set up in Deltek VantagepointMentor and support Project Accountants with contract review to ensure project setup and invoicing conform to contract termsIssue a high volume and high complexity of invoices while working in conjunction with Project Managers to ensure all invoices sent to the client are correct and appropriateProactively manage unbilled time and expenses to ensure all aging balances are addressed by the Project ManagerSubmit all invoices to the clientsAssist Project Managers with accounts receivable tracking and collection effortsSupport onboarding of Project ManagersNotarize documentsAssist with Project Review Meetings as neededPoint of escalation for billing & project challenges and inquiries from internal team, clients, and vendorsGeneral accounting and audit support as neededEducation / Experience:High school diploma requiredBachelors' degree in Accounting is preferredMinimum of 8 years' experience in a high-volume billing department, or equivalent combination of education and experienceComputer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual is required to have proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Deltek Vantagepoint.National salary range (4+ years experience): $28-$40/hour (regional cost of living factors, certification, etc. are considered into the hiring process). Additional compensation includes bonuses and benefits.
