Wordpress Developer

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated WordPress Developer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in building, migrating, and customizing WordPress websites on AWS EC2, LightSail, and cPanel. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in creating custom modules, optimizing performance, and the ability to clean up hacked sites. Extensive experience with various AWS services, including EC2, EFS, RDS, ELB, Route 53, Route 53 Health-Check, S3, CloudFront, WAF, and Auto-Scaling, is required. Key Responsibilities: Designed, developed, and customized WordPress websites on AWS EC2, LightSail, and cPanel. Build custom WordPress modules tailored to client needs. Migrate WordPress websites from various hosting environments to AWS. Implement and manage AWS services such as EC2, EFS, RDS, ELB, Route 53, S3, CloudFront, WAF, and Auto-Scaling. Customize and optimize WordPress themes, with a preference for experience with Avada. Integrate and configure plugins, including MemberPress, WP Rocket, Imagify, WooCommerce, WordFence, BackupBuddy, Re-Captcha, SMTP Postman, Gravity Forms, WP Mail, and Google Map. Conduct thorough performance optimization to ensure fast and efficient websites. Clean up hacked WordPress sites and implement security measures to prevent future breaches. Conduct cross-browser and device testing to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members and contribute to the successful delivery of projects. Take websites live, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition from development to production. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing WordPress websites. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in WordPress development. Proven experience in building, migrating, and customizing WordPress websites on AWS EC2, LightSail, and cPanel. Strong ability to build custom modules and extend WordPress functionality. Extensive experience with AWS services, including EC2, RDS, ELB, Route 53, S3, CloudFront, WAF, and Auto-Scaling. Familiarity with popular WordPress themes like Avada and experience with essential plugins. Experience in performance optimization for WordPress websites. Proven ability to clean up hacked WordPress sites and enhance security. A strong team player with excellent communication skills. Ability to test websites thoroughly and take them live seamlessly. Must provide links to previous WordPress projects and Git repositories showcasing your work. Preferred Skills: AWS Certification (preferred). Experience with advanced performance optimization and caching techniques. Knowledge of SEO best practices for WordPress. Familiarity with Git version control.
