Work Week minimumCompany provided breakfast on Fridays & Lunch on Saturdays for scheduled employees.EOE-M/F/V/H Drug Screen/Background check requiredThe Assistant Manager will travel to assist in the development and execution of Fence Outlet's business strategies to support business goals and objectives while supporting the company's mission, vision and values.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESAssist in determining staffing requirementsHire and train new staffSupervise direct reporting staff according to overall company policySet employee goals and objectivesDevelop staff to maximize potentialMonitor staff performance including performance reviewsDelegate work duties to staffAllocate use of available resourcesMonitor and assist staff with work progressEvaluate current business processes and systemsPlan and implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiencyEstablish and maintain controlsFormulate department/unit policies and practicesCo-ordinate financial and budget activities for maximum operational efficiencyFacilitate the preparation and analysis of reportsReview performance data (financial, sales and activity reports) to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress and activity levelsResponsible for the achievement of department/division/unit productivity and quality goalsOrganize and manage business meetingsSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIESExceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong communication, presentation and writing skills.Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic environment.Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.Ability to effectively manage teams as well as work effectively as part of a team.Passion for providing excellent service and quality.RequirementsComputer proficiency, with ability to work in MS Office based programs to include emailBasic math skillsAnalytical and problem solving skillsDecision making skillsOutstanding organizational skillsEffective written communications skillsAbove average verbal communication skillsTime management skillsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree from an accredited school is most preferred. Minimal requirement is a High School DiplomaThis position requires a minimum of 3-5 years of like/similar experience preferably supporting a manufacturing or production capacity.Knowledge of business and management principles and practicesKnowledge of strategic planningKnowledge of human resource management principles and proceduresKnowledge of basic economic and accounting principles and practicesKnowledge of office administrative proceduresADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to continuously see. Must be able to frequently stand, walk, view computer monitors, give & receive oral communication, bend, squat, reach above shoulder level, and discern color. Must be able to occasionally sit, drive, type, and make fine discrimination in sound.Must be able to regularly lift/carry up to 10 lbs.; occasionally lift/carry up to 20 lbs.Must be able to do repetitive simple grasping, fine manipulation, and pushing & pulling on a frequent basis.Must possess a valid driver's license and drive to and from work locations.Must be able to travel as required for company business.
