Java Developer (w2)

*Job Overview* *Location:* Phoenix, AZ *Experience:* 6–10 Years *Pay Rate:* $46/hr on W2 *Job Overview:* We are looking for an experienced Java Backend / Platform Engineer to support the design, development, and operational needs of core platform applications. The ideal candidate will have strong Java and API development experience along with hands-on experience in production support, monitoring, and performance testing. *Key Responsibilities:*

• Lead solution design and implementation of core platform features.
• Design, develop, and implement APIs and backend services.
• Provide operational and production support for platform applications.
• Build and maintain monitoring tools, dashboards, and ad hoc reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues.
• Perform performance, load, and endurance testing.
• Analyze application performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to ensure smooth application delivery and support.
• Work during the second shift to provide overlap with the onsite team.

*Required Skills:*

• 6–10 years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with *Java and backend development*.
• Hands-on experience with *REST/API design and implementation*.
• Experience with *solution design and platform development*.
• Experience in *production/operational support*.
• Knowledge of *application monitoring, dashboards, and reporting*.
• Experience with *performance and endurance testing*.
• Strong troubleshooting and defect-resolution skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to work second shift/offshore hours for onsite team overlap.
