Our team is known for precision, safety, and top-tier service in heavy industrial environments.Position Summary:We are hiring a Welder with Ironworker experience to support our field service team on kiln installations and repairs. This is a hands‑on, travel‑based role requiring a strong work ethic, technical skills in welding and rigging, and a willingness to work in demanding industrial conditions. Candidates must be able to pass weld tests to AWS D1.1 Structural standards and travel extensively across the U.S.Key Responsibilities:Perform welding using FCAW (Dual Shield) and SMAW (Stick) in accordance with AWS D1.1Install, repair, and dismantle industrial rotary kilns and related machineryUse oxy/acetylene cutting tools and carbon arc gouging equipmentFit bearings, align gears, attach motors, and perform rigging tasks using hoists, jacks, come‑alongs, and pulleysInterpret and follow blueprints, layout instructions, and work ordersOperate forklifts and manlifts to move equipment and materialsSignal crane operators to maintain site safetyFollow all company safety protocols and wear appropriate PPEQualifications:High school diploma or GED preferred6+ months of relevant welding and ironworking experience, or equivalent trainingValid U.S. driver’s license (required)Ability to pass pre‑employment weld testsProficient in basic math and blueprint readingPhysically capable of climbing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and working outdoors in varying weatherComfortable working in loud, high‑risk environments (industrial safety compliance required)Physical & Travel Requirements:Must be able to stand, walk, and climb for extended periodsMust have full range of vision including depth and peripheralAbility to work in all weather conditions and tolerate loud industrial noiseWillingness to travel nationwide for extended periods (several weeks at a time)Medical & Dental InsuranceVision CoverageShort‑Term and Long‑Term Disability (STD/LTD)401(k) Plan with Employer MatchRoth IRA OptionsSupplemental Life & AD&D InsuranceWhy Join NAK Kiln Services?This is a career‑building opportunity for welders and ironworkers who thrive in a fast‑paced, highly technical, and travel‑intensive role.
