This role is responsible for the end-to-end integrity of our underwriting process. You will serve as the primary point of contact for underwriting deals, ensuring every deal is accurate, profitable, and aligned with our long-term growth strategy. This role is perfect for a highly analytical problem-solver who enjoys optimizing complex workflows, stress-testing financial models, and providing the actionable insights that drive executive decision-making.What You'll DoAct as the primary point of contact for Sales reps to handle "desk-heavy" tasks, including updating proformas and resubmitting deals for approvalManage the underwriting lifecycle using internal automation tools to accelerate approval times without sacrificing accuracyRigorously review sales proformas to ensure maximum profitability, operational efficiency, and data integrityCollaborate directly with sales and operations leaders to inform best practices for underwriting and managing assetsAnalyze and stress test potential macro and micro impacts to asset performanceMaintain meticulous records within Salesforce to ensure the team has access to "source of truth" business metricsContribute to improvements in deal desk processes, documentation, and playbooksUse GTM insights to inform cross functional collaboration to inform strategic decision making throughout the organizationDrive continuous improvement and innovation to support the company’s growth and competitivenessWhat we're looking for2+ years of experience in a Deal Desk, Sales Support, or Sales Operations roleStrong skills in Google Workspace and SalesforceSeasoned professional with a strong background in revenue operations and analyticsStrong analytical skills, with the ability to audit financial proformas, identify data inconsistencies, and implement necessary correctionsDetail-oriented, excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to identify areas of improvement and propose necessary changesService-oriented mindset, taking pride in the success of others and treating internal sales teams as key stakeholdersWhile not required, these are a plus:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field4 Days in Office: Metropolis values in-person collaboration to drive innovation, strengthen culture, and enhance the Member experience. The anticipated base salary for this position is $85,000.00 USD to $95,000.00 USD annually. The actual base salary offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment.
