Robotics & Controls Engineer – BIW Welding Automation
Provide technical support for on-site product trials (30%)Support tip dresser product trials at customer sites.Commission and debug industrial robots, welding guns, and tip dresser equipment.Modify and optimize PLC programs according to on-site application requirements.Work closely with customers to ensure smooth trial operation and successful product validation.Provide after-sales service and troubleshooting (30%)Deliver on-site after-sales technical support for company products.Diagnose equipment faults, analyze root causes, and carry out troubleshooting and corrective actions.Support customers in resolving technical issues in a timely and professional manner.Support showroom operation (20%)Operate and maintain the company's showroom equipment.Perform robot commissioning and PLC debugging for product demonstrations.Ensure showroom systems remain in good working condition for customer visits and presentations.Support other projects when workload allows (20%)Provide support to other projects and teams when primary job tasks are not fully occupied.Assist with related engineering and technical work as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related discipline, with at least five years of relevant industry experience.Demonstrated hands-on experience in industrial robot commissioning.Practical experience in PLC programming, debugging, and system modification.Fundamental knowledge of resistance spot welding processes.Experience with commissioning welding equipment, including welding gun tip dressers, is preferred.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites as required.Effective communication skills with a high level of accountability and professionalism.Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English is preferred.
