Licensed Dental Assistant
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing quality oral healthcare with a focus on patient comfort and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform chairside assisting duties during dental procedures
- Take and record patients' vital signs
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar systems
- Take dental X-rays as directed by the dentist
- Provide post-operative instructions to patients
- Assist with various dental procedures including prosthodontics and general dentistry
- Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
Experience
The successful candidate should possess:
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures
- Knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and systems
- Experience with X-Ray imaging and processing
- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental software is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 34 per week

High school or equivalent (Required)

Dental assisting: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
