Event Specialist and Mover

This position requires daily walking, lifting, moving furniture and other miscellaneous items. The Event Specialist will be required to move furniture throughout each location, loading and unloading box trucks when needed, and setting up rooms. Depending on the event setup and teardown, you might set up the same event each time or you might have to create different sites for varying functions. *Duties* - Typical setup activities include but are not limited to: Setting up tents, putting up the pipe and drape configuration that creates trade show booths, setting up tables and chairs, helping with audio-visual equipment, hanging signs, placing decorations, setting out materials such as program books and putting together buffet tables. - Follow all safety protocols and procedures when completing tasks. - Provide excellent customer service during event setup, execution, and breakdown. - Plan the most efficient ways to pack items into the moving truck and on carts. Wrap furniture in protective material. Load, pack, and unload items with care. - Complete weekly worklist for proper billing to client. - Maintain cleanliness of storage areas. *Required Qualifications* - Clear criminal background check - Negative 10 - panel drug test - Capability to handle heavy lifting, moving tasks and great deal of walking.
