Litigation Paralegal – 4+ years of experience – San Jose and/or Danville

Are you an experienced, personable litigation paralegal who is looking to work in a fun, fast paced law firm with a positive environment? Do you enjoy taking on a variety of responsibilities? Do you want to work with a group of professionals who highly value accountability, respect, integrity and achievement while still finding time for fun? If this sounds like you, you could be a great fit to be a Litigation Paralegal working with our litigation team. This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, Monday thru Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Primary responsibilities include: ·      Preparing and finalizing court pleadings in state and federal court, including complaints, motions, briefs, judicial council forms.·      Managing litigation calendar and tracking of deadlines.·      Preparing motions, complaints, briefs and other documents.·      Working with outside vendors for filing documents, process serving, discovery and mediation. ·      Assisting with document review, discovery preparation and organization. The ideal candidate must be detailed oriented, well organized, be extremely strong in following-up on pending items and keeping track of deadlines. We are looking for someone who is friendly and outgoing, professional, punctual and can multi-task and prioritize under pressure. Candidates must be proficient with MS Office. Requirements ·      Paralegal Certificate·      4+ years of experience assisting litigation teams·      Able to work in San Jose or Danville Office Benefits Summary:·      Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
