Job OverviewThe SVP Credit Officer serves as part of the first line, ensuring strong risk governance, robust controls, and responsiveness to client needs. The Credit Risk Manager will be part of a global underwriting team, primarily focused on alternative investment clients, specifically hedge funds and private investment firms across a range of financial products, including financing, derivatives, and clearing services. ResponsibilitiesPortfolio analysis, risk identification, due diligence, ongoing monitoring, documentation, and stress testing.Assess transaction risk across a broad set of products and business activitiesPerform credit analysis, underwriting, and ongoing portfolio monitoringSupport a portfolio involving complex financial structures and productsPromote consistency in risk assessment and underwriting practices across regionsMaintain strong knowledge of financing products, derivatives, and structured transactionsBuild and manage relationships with clients and internal stakeholders Requirements8 years of experience in counterparty credit covering hedge funds and or private equityStrong understanding of capital markets products and complex financing structuresFamiliarity with alternative investment clientsStrong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
