Senior Electrical Engineer

Our team is growing and looking to add an experienced electrical engineer team member to our Health & Science Team with a minimum of 15 years of design experience, ideally with experience in healthcare design. We view each project as an opportunity to form a lasting partnership and we pride ourselves on our company culture.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesProficient knowledge of the National Electrical CodeTechnical experience with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM Power tools, and electrical modeling softwarePower design of medium and low voltage, including panel schedules, layout, circuiting, and controlsPerform load calculations, voltage drop, arc flash, and circuit breaker coordinator studiesDesign of electrical one-line diagrams and power distribution systemsDesign of lighting systemsDevelop electrical specifications and construction cost estimatesConduct periodic job site observations and quality control tasksCommunication with project leads, clients, and contractorsSkillsSkilled in the use of Microsoft Office and CAD, BlueBeam, REVIT, SKM Power tools/ETAP/Easy Power, and AGI32 softwareWork collaboratively with other disciplines and coordinate with production staffRequirements:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited four-year college or universityMinimum 15 years of experience in the MEP industry, ideally healthcare experience (or similar projects)Professional Engineer Licensure is preferredMust be authorized to work in the United StatesQuality of LeadershipPromotes positive attitude and imagePossesses excellent motivational skillsShows fairness and consistency; is decisiveShows good judgement and reasoning abilityTakes initiative to set goals and works purposefully to achieve themExhibits effective interpersonal skills (speaking, writing, and listening)A recent Top WorkPlaces Winner, RMH promotes work life balance, presenting flexible work options that allow employees to make a bigger impact at work, at home and in the community.
