Java Full Stack Developer

Position Summary We are seeking a Java Full Stack Developer with 6 to 8 years of experience in building high-throughput, high-volume transaction systems. The ideal candidate will be strong in server-side Java development, have exposure to React, and bring hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Kafka, PL/SQL, and cloud-based deployment. This is a 100% onsite role based in Jersey City, NJ. Details Job Title: Java Full Stack Developer Location: Jersey City, NJ Job Type: Contract W2 Only Experience: 6–8 Years Key Responsibilities Manage & enhance scalable microservices using Spring Boot within a Java stack. Implement and optimize data flows using Kafka. Work with PL/SQL for backend data operations and migration from sybase to postgreSQL. Ensure performance and reliability in high-throughput transactional systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GenAI tools aimed at improving development efficiency. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes. Required Skills Java Stack: Strong proficiency in Java with Spring Boot microservices. Data Technologies: Experience with Kafka. Database: PL/SQL expertise. Performance: Proven experience in building high-throughput applications. GenAI Exposure: Understanding or hands-on experience with GenAI tools for development enhancement. Cloud Exposure: Exposure to AWS Cloud development & deployment. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field. Experience in financial services or enterprise-scale systems. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
