This role requires a self-starter who values collaboration, demonstrates intellectual curiosity, and actively partners with stakeholders to drive sustainable process improvements and operational outcomes.**Contract to Hire****After training, 2 day a week in office**What you will be doing as the Compliance Specialist:Develop an understanding of and document existing Operations Compliance processes and workflows across business units and enterprise stakeholders, and actively identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and improve them.Coordinate cross-functional projects with enterprise stakeholders, serving as a driver of alignment, accountability, and continuous improvement.Lead requirements gathering, root cause analysis, and workflow assessments to design and implement future-state processes that improve efficiency, consistency, and operational effectiveness.Support and help drive the implementation of operational and system enhancements, ensuring solutions are scalable, well-adopted, and deliver measurable improvements.Continuously analyze process performance and toll utilization, recommending and implementing improvements to reduce manual effort, risk, and rework.Support testing, project management and change management activities.Maintain complete and accurate program and process documentation.Document issues and coordinate resolutions with appropriate stakeholders.Build strong customer relationships and demonstrate strong business knowledge.Perform other duties as assigned.What you will need as the Compliance Specialist:Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.Property & Casualty insurance experience is required.Prior P&C underwriting experience is strongly preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and planning skills.Demonstrated ability to leverage approved Generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to accelerate analysis, documentation, and workflow design, while applying sound human judgment, validating outputs for accuracy, and adhering to data handling and confidentiality requirements.Experience with ServiceNow is a plusAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.Prior project management experience is a plus.
