Commercial Installation Technician, Construction / Low Voltage

Position Overview We are seeking Low Voltage Electrical Technicians to join our operations in the Dallas, TX area with Commercial experience. Rate of pay is dependent on experience, but typically ranges from $20/hr-$24/hr. This person will be responsible for performing cabling and low voltage electrical work in the installation of all security related systems for commercial buildings. Cabling: Run CAT6 low voltage cable and access control composite cable to industry standards. Electrical Work: Install various low voltage electrical components, such as data racks, conduit, and fiber. Hand Tools and Inventory: Safely operate various hand tools, work at heights on ladders and lifts, keep accurate truck inventory, and maintain safety standards on-site and off. Documentation: Perform computer program entry as required and prepare documentation for the purpose of providing written support in compliance with regulations and/or conveying information. Customer Service: Consistently communicate with the Branch Coordinator, Branch Manager, and customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction. What you'll need to be successful: HS Diploma or equivalent Ability to lift/move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to work from ladders or man lifts at extended heights. Must be able to differentiate colors. Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and complete overhead work for long periods of time. Must have a current, valid driver's license in the state of which you are applying and have the ability to meet our company driving standards. Must have a reliable form of transportation to and from work each day.
