Role Description This is a full-time on-site seasonal (August-October, with summer practices too) role for an Assistant High School Volleyball Coach at Mount Baker Senior High School in Deming, WA. Responsibilities include coaching our C-Team volleyball team, planning and conducting training sessions, mentoring student-athletes, and fostering a positive and inclusive team environment. The coach will work closely with the head coach to develop strategies and ensure the physical and mental growth of players, as well as promoting sportsmanship and team unity. Qualifications Strong knowledge of Volleyball techniques, gameplay strategies, and training methodsCoaching and mentoring skills, with experience in managing and motivating student-athletesEffective Communication skills for providing clear instructions, fostering teamwork, and engaging with players, parents, and staffBackground in Training and/or Education, with the ability to support both skill development and personal growthCommitment to upholding sportsmanship, equity, and a positive team cultureCPR and First Aid certifications are a plusPrevious coaching or playing experience in volleyball is preferred
