Shuttle DriverPrintpack in Marshall, North Carolina is looking for a Shuttle Driver. The Shuttle Driver is responsible for safely operating vehicles to transport materials between locations while ensuring compliance with all transportation regulations and safety protocols. This position combines traditional truck driving responsibilities with specialized knowledge of bulk material handling and transfer operations while maintaining strict safety and regulatory compliance. This position reports to the Shipping Supervisor/Manager.Key Responsibilities:Operate designated motor vehicles for transporting Printpack merchandise between locationsPerform and document pre-trip safety inspections on vehiclesLoad and unload trucks, managing proper material handling proceduresTransport solvents according to safety protocols and regulationsVerify and manage documentation including manifests and Bills of LadingMaintain compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocolsEnsure proper placarding of trailers and emergency response informationOperate vehicles safely and legally on public roadsReport traffic accidents or incidents involving vehicle damage promptlyComplete required documentation and maintain accurate recordsMaintain current Class C Driver license. Must be able to obtain a D.O.T. Health CardOther tasks as assignedRequired Skills:Valid Class C Driver's LicenseNo traffic violations within the past two (2) yearsAdditional Requirements:Must pass pre-employment assessmentsDrug screening requiredBackground check requiredPhysical Demands: The associate will be exposed to the manufacturing environment where hazards and requirements may include but are not limited to:Capability to lift and move up to 50 poundsAbility to climb, kneel, bend, and squatCapable of sitting for extended periods of timeCapacity to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to wear required PPE (hearing protection, steel-toe shoes, safety glasses)Forklift certification or ability to obtain forklift and pallet jacksAbility to maintain Class C Driver LicenseWork Conditions: The majority of tasks will be performed while driving.
