Structured Cabling Technicians – Amarillo, TX *Pay:* $20/hour *Job Type:* Long-Term Contract *Positions:* 2 Technicians *Start Date:* Asap *Duration:* Approximately 18 months *Location:* Amarillo, TX 79106 *Start Time:* 7:00 AM *Work Environment:* Hospital Job Summary We are hiring *2 Structured Cabling Technicians* for a long-term project at a hospital in Amarillo. Technicians will support the BCI team with a large-scale *copper and fiber telecommunications buildout*, including approximately *6,600 cable drops and cable pulls*. This is a great opportunity for technicians who are comfortable with hands-on cabling work and working as part of a larger installation crew. Scope of Work * Assist the BCI team with the installation of approximately *6,600 copper and fiber cable drops*. * Pull, route, and organize structured cabling throughout the facility. * Assist with cable installation in a large hospital environment. * Route cable through approved pathways, cable trays, J-hooks, and other support systems. * Properly dress, organize, and label cable runs. * Assist with copper and fiber installation as directed by the project lead. * Follow project drawings, cable schedules, labeling requirements, and installation instructions. * Maintain proper cable organization and installation quality. * Work efficiently with the crew to meet daily production goals. * Keep the work area clean and organized and follow all hospital/site safety requirements. Requirements * *OSHA 10 certification REQUIRED.* * Previous structured cabling, low-voltage, electrical, or construction experience preferred. * Comfortable performing high-volume cable pulls. * Must have basic *personal hand tools*. * Must provide and wear required *PPE*. * Ability to work on ladders and perform physical cable-pulling activities. * Ability to lift, carry, and move cable and installation materials. * Dependable and able to work a consistent *7:00 AM* start time. * Must be comfortable working in a hospital/VA facility. #IND2 Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week License/Certification: * OSHA 10 (Required) Work Location: In person
