Production Supervisor

Weekend Production Supervisor Boba Department Zentis is Europe's number one fruit processing company and one of the leading brand manufacturers of jams, sweets and custard-based desserts. The Company's North American operations are located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Plymouth, Indiana, where we produce fruit and dairy preparations for a variety of customers including yogurt, ice cream and bakery manufacturers. We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor for the Friday-Sunday, Weekend Shift, in our Boba department for our Plymouth, IN location.The supervisor monitors daily activities of the production area to ensure that volume, cost, and quality standards are achieved. Coordinating work schedules, staffing requirements, and production sequences to maximize productivity. Identify problems related to production process and provide production reports to assist with process improvement. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional areas under supervision. Maintains direct communication with all departments associated with any production needs. Variance Management: Monitors short interval control boards to ensure that issues noted on board are fixed promptly.Primary Responsibilities:Supervises the overall department to accomplish daily production requirements, safety standards & quality standards are maintained.Coordinates and communicates with all departments associated with any type of production needs to accomplish set goals.Participation in teams for betterment of department, (ex.) CI, SafetyResponsible for monitoring all paperwork within the production department, (ex) KPI'sResponsible in the manning of department including the interviewing, hiring process and payroll hours.Participates in all audits internal and externalResponsible for material inventories for department, (ex.) chemicals, gloves, hairnets, etc. etc.Helps with the development and training of employees in the operation of the department.Specific Experience and Key Knowledge Requirements:2 to 4 years managerial experienceSpecial Skills and Abilities Required:TroubleshootingDecision MakingCommunicationAnalytical SkillsEOE/M/F/H/V
