NR consulting will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.Job Type: Fulltime Permanent Role/Direct HireSalary Range: $90K - $115K/Annum plus benefitsPlease note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a growing engineering team supporting complex commercial and mission-critical projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects involving HVAC, plumbing and fire protection system design for high-performance facilities.Key Responsibilities:Support mechanical system design and project execution from concept through commissioning.Prepare coordinated construction documents including drawings, specifications, and technical details.Perform load calculations and equipment sizing/layout for HVAC and plumbing systems.Collaborate with internal teams, architects, contractors, vendors and external stakeholders.Participate in site visits, project meetings, and construction administration activities.Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and industry standards.Assist with commissioning activities and project closeout documentation.Required Qualifications:5–10 years of experience in mechanical engineering/design within a consulting or engineering environment.Prior experience managing or leading engineering projects preferred.Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.Familiarity with building codes, ASHRAE standards and NFPA requirements.Excellent communication and coordination skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Preferred Experience:Exposure to mission-critical, data center, healthcare, commercial or institutional projects.Experience with commissioning processes and building management systems.Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer looking to work on technically challenging projects within a collaborative environment.About NR ConsultingFounded in 2005, NR Consulting is a leading global provider of workforce solutions, technology services, and recruitment strategy, trusted by Fortune 500 and mid-sized organizations across North America, Europe, and Asia.
