Software Engineer – AI Infrastructure & Edge Computing
Contribute to a software platform that powers AI-driven radar systems operating across edge and cloud environments!MatrixSpace develops AI-enabled radar and sensing systems that help people understand what's happening in the world around them. By combining advanced radar, edge computing, and AI, we deliver situational awareness in environments where traditional sensing solutions struggle.We're looking for a hands-on, C++-fluent Software Engineer to help build and scale the platform software that enables AI-powered applications at the edge. You'll spend time developing high-performance software in C++, building distributed services and APIs, and deploying applications across edge and cloud environments. You'll work closely with platform, AI/ML, and embedded systems engineers to deliver reliable, scalable systems that support real-time intelligence.If you're technically curious, can read code like a book, and are motivated by solving difficult systems problems, we'd love to talk.What You'll DoDesign and develop platform software supporting AI workloads, edge inference, and distributed data processingBuild and maintain high-performance components in C++, Go, and Python for real-time and resource-constrained environmentsDevelop APIs and middleware that connect AI models, data services, and user-facing applicationsDeploy and operate distributed systems across cloud, on-premises, and edge environments using modern infrastructure toolsPartner with AI, platform, and embedded engineering teams to bring machine learning capabilities into production systemsImprove system performance, scalability, reliability, and observability across the platformMentor and guide more junior engineersWhat We're Looking ForThis position requires working directly or indirectly with the US Government in restricted environments.
