We have an immediate opening for a full-time Leasing Consultant. Your work schedule will vary; Monday through Friday and you'll share a weekend rotational schedule with other employees.Our starting base pay is $17.00 - $19.00 per hour and is based on your work experience and skills. Opportunity for substantial commission payments on new leases and lease renewals.The Leasing Consultant is responsible for marketing, sales, customer service and resident retention strategies to achieve desired occupancy and revenue as it relates to the designated property. The Leasing Consultant is crucial to establishing rapport and lasting impression of the community and therefore must provide a positive and professional customer service experience.Essential DutiesCreate and maintain lasting customer service relationships with current and potential residentsRespond to internet leads, answer prospect calls and conduct property toursUtilize established sales and marketing strategies to drive property traffic, conversion ratios and retention goalsMaintain thorough product knowledge of the property and sell the value of community features as they relate to the customer needsHigh School diploma, GED or related experience and/or trainingCustomer service and sales aptitude and/or experienceAbility to work your scheduled hours consistently as well as overtime when necessaryCommunicate effectively to comprehend and complete legal documents, sell and explain apartment home features, respond to objections and answer questionsProficient customer service, interpersonal and follow-up skills for effective interaction with residents, prospects, employees, and other business contactsAbility to apply sales skills, such as generating sales leads, conducting sales presentations, qualifying prospects, and closingProficient and fluent use of internet for marketing, advertising, and sales-related circumstancesPhysical Demands/Work EnvironmentWork is normally performed in office environment with moderate exposure to outside elements such as temperature and weather during toursStand or walk or sit alternatively depending on the day's schedule, including bending, stooping, and squatting for filing frequently neededAbility to push/pull doors and climb stairs frequently needed to tour the propertyLifting/carrying 10-25 lbs. occasionally neededBenefitsSignificant Opportunity for Commissions and Renewal CommissionsMedical/Dental/Vision InsurancePaid time offPaid Holidays401k Plan20% off rent at our community
