About the Opportunity:The Developer Relations Documentation Engineer role focuses on enhancing the developer experience by managing and improving product documentation for flagship AI observability products. This position ensures documentation accuracy and usability for both human developers and AI coding agents, employing AI-driven automation to maintain and update content. The role contributes to smoother onboarding and effective use of the company’s tools, directly impacting developer adoption and satisfaction.3. Responsibilities:Maintain and update product documentation to ensure accuracy and clarityDevelop automated systems to monitor documentation quality and detect discrepancies between code and docsAdapt documentation to be accessible and actionable for both human developers and AI agentsCreate and refresh tutorials, cookbooks, and demonstration repositoriesCoordinate with integration partners and external content creators to ensure accurate representationFacilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new usersCollect community feedback to inform product developmentSupport marketing efforts by providing technical contentEngage with the developer community through events and online channelsServe as a primary contact for product-related community inquiriesCollaborate on product feature prototyping4. Requirements:Minimum 3 years of experience in technical writing, documentation engineering, developer relations, or a technical role involving extensive writingStrong technical communication skills demonstrated through public-facing workProficiency in engineering practices including docs-as-code workflows and CI systemsKnowledge of large language model (LLM)-based application developmentInterest in documentation tooling for AI agentsSelf-motivated with the ability to work in a dynamic startup environmentAvailability for occasional evening and weekend in-person events locally or within travel distance5.
