We are seeking engineers who wish to grow their careers and want to become part of a technically strong and growth-oriented company focused on bringing innovative solutions to the difficult mission problems facing our customers.DescriptionDevelop machine learning, data mining, statistical and graph- based algorithms to analyze and make sense of datasets; prototype or consider several algorithms and decide upon final model based on suitable performance metrics; build models or develop experiments to generate data when training or example datasets are unavailable; generate reports and visualizations that summarize datasets and provide data-driven insights to customers; partner with subject matter experts to translate manual data analysis into automated analytics; implement prototype algorithms within production frameworks for integration into analyst workflows.ClearanceA current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.ExperienceRequired skills:Experience conducting problem definition and gathering data requirements from stakeholdersOral and written communications skills to explain data analysis to stakeholders10+ years of experience with conducting analysis of management and operational problems using operations research techniques4+ years of experience with the application of modeling and simulation to address decision analysis problems4+ years of experience conducting multiple objective decision analysis or cost benefit analysis in support of research objectives4+ years of experience with PANDAS, R, Excel and VBA, ARENA, OCTAVE, Tableau, Gurobi and CPLEX, EXTENDSIM, SAS, NETICA, stats models, Stata, MATLAB, or SPSSBachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) fieldDesired skills: Experience with developing and performing verification and validation of models to ensure adequacyExperience developing and delivering training materials for operations research techniquesExperience briefing results and preparing written reports on analytic approaches and methodologiesExperience with the use of machine learning and large language models to solve complex problemsMaster's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) fieldBenefitsErias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits.
