Warehouse Clerk II
The OHD warehouse has the following major areas of responsibility Shipping/Receiving; Inventory; Adapter/Accessory Assembly; and Quality Checks/Documentation of products. The Senior Warehouse Clerk will be capable of performing to the Expert level all aspects of an assigned major area of responsibility and to the Advanced levels on all other major areas of responsibility. Receiving service items will include opening Work Orders and entering an inventory of the equipment and accessories received into the company’s service tracking database. Receiving inventory items will include verifying shipment contents against packing slips, checking for damaged items, and providing verified packing slips to accounting. Shipping service items will include verifying that the customers’ equipment and accessories that were received are included in the return shipment. New sale shipments will have the package contents verified against Picking Tickets. Inventory includes monthly/weekly counts as assigned and setup of options and firmware/software of equipment for sale as needed. Adapter/Accessory Assembly is building these items. Quality Checks/Documentation is performed on various aspects of the other major areas as assigned, typically adapter/assembly builds, inventory parts and equipment setup. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Shipping/ReceivingReceive service items into the company's service database within 24 hours of receipt. Ensures all Paperwork from Check In is matched with newly created Work Orders.Receive inventory items and verify contents against packing slips within 24 hours of receipt.Prepare shipments and verify package contents against Work Orders and/or Picking Tickets daily for all orders received by cutoff times.Hazardous material labeling for shipment of fit tester batteries.Scans picking tickets and runs UPS End of Day.InventoryMonthly and weekly inventory and build level counts as assigned.Enables features and bump cal's Svantek products as needed.Receives and tests new fit testing systems from the manufacturing wing.Receives and tests new fit tester batteries from manufacturing wing.Updates firmware on fit testing and other systems as needed.Performs MS Surface Virtual Operator Kiosk setup.Performs datalogger setup.Performs USB band setup.Performs extraordinary order preparation, assembly, review, and packaging as directed by the Service and Quality Manager and/or VP Controller.Adapter/Accessory AssemblyAssemble adapters to reach defined inventory levels weekly.Assembles accessories, including triple tubes and leak orifice assembly, to reach defined inventory levels weekly.Performs accessory and adapter checks to support calibration technicians as directed by the Service and Quality Manager.Quality Checks/DocumentationDocuments Quality Control Testing on new instruments, Adapters and Accessories as properly trained and assigned.Documents verification of equipment option enablement, bump cal's, and setup as properly trained and assigned.Inspects and documents select inventory items as properly trained and assigned.Performs initial review of RMA's, documents results and reports findings to Service and Quality Manager.OtherCross trains in other Service Department functions and cross trains others on key job responsibilities to develop backup capability within the Service Department as directed by the Service and Quality Manager.Maintain neat and effective work area, including sweeping and breaking down/taking boxes to dumpster daily.Performs all other duties as assigned or directed by the Service and Quality Manager.LEADERSHIP:Approaches job and assignments with a high sense of urgency, commitment, & communication.Holds self personally responsible for meeting commitments and getting results & holds others accountable as well.Promotes a culture of high performance & professionalism in accordance with Company core values.Proactively identifies, solves, and avoids problems.
