International Trade Law Firm - SPECIALIST:Highly regarded DC-based International Trade law firm seeking a full-time trade specialist.Ideal for academically accomplished candidates with an interest in law or international trade.Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in litigation and regulatory practices.Best for candidates looking for 3 years of specialized trade experience before entering law school.Responsibilities:Perform administrative duties (e.g., document management).Draft and edit legal documents, including forms, letters, and briefs for:U.S. Department of CommerceU.S. Customs and Border ProtectionU.S. International Trade CommissionU.S. Court of International TradeU.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal CircuitResearch, compile, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.Assist with hearing preparation and long-term projects.Expect a mix of administrative and substantive tasks; new hires without trade law experience will initially focus more on administrative work.Qualifications:Professionalism, strong teamwork, and sound judgment.High attention to detail, discretion, and confidentiality.Ability to handle administrative duties in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Strong academic background (minimum 3.5 GPA preferred).Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); Adobe Acrobat a plus.Strong research, writing, organization, and multitasking skills.Excellent oral and written communication; ability to meet deadlines.Compensation: $53,000 to $60,000 based on experience.
