You’ll be trusted to set up, program, and run your own jobs, make decisions at the machine, and work with a team that values quality over rushing parts out the door. This is a hands-on role for machinists who enjoy problem-solving, precision work, and seeing parts done right the first time. What You’ll Do Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes Run Hardinge and Mori Seiki machines (Fanuc controls preferred) Machine complex aerospace parts to tight tolerances Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T Make program edits and offsets at the machine Perform first-piece and in-process inspections Use micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators, and CMMs Troubleshoot tooling, setups, and machining issues Perform routine maintenance and tooling changes Work closely with engineering and quality teams Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area What We’re Looking For 5+ years CNC Lathe experience (aerospace or precision machining preferred) Strong setup and programming skills Comfortable working independently Solid blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge Experience holding tight tolerances Reliable, detail-oriented, and quality-focused What You Get Competitive pay based on experience 401(k) with company match Health, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Flexible scheduling Tuition reimbursement Referral bonuses Training and advancement opportunities Good to Know This is not an entry-level position or a button-pushing role.
