They offer industry-leading building information modeling (BIM) capabilities, design/build services, sustainable solutions, commercial HVAC services, and complex mechanical and industrial system installations. In this position, you will be responsible for implementing safety programs and conducting employee training for our employees at projects in San Diego, Los Angeles County, and Orange County.Compensation Range: $70K $99KDuties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for implementing safety policies and procedures at job sites and fabrication shop and training all personnel in safety practicesDocument site safety reviews for projects visitedLead New Hire Orientation for all employeesConduct live training for Competent Persons (Confined Space, Fall Protection, Excavation and Trenching, etc.)Keep all documentation up to dateEnsure all programs and policies are in place and are being followed throughoutConduct accident investigationsEffectively apply our methodology and enforce standardsDevelop relationships with client that produce trustLead by example and foster safety through coaching and counselingBe available when high-risk activities i.e. crane work, are performedOther duties assignedQualifications & RequirementsPrefer a minimum of 3 to 5 years construction experience in the construction safety management for large commercial and industrial projectsHS Diploma/Equivalency requiredMinimum 5 years of safety experienceUnderstanding of OSHA and Cal-OSHA regulationsMust be able to handle sensitive related information in a confidential mannerExperience in Office 365 (Work, Excel, email)Interpersonal/relationship skillsOSHA 500 Certification, or ability to attain certification in 6 months1 st Aid/CPR trainedWork with minimal supervisionCommunicate with Company Loss Control TeamWe offer our employees a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package and are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
