Data Scientist / Software Engineer (NLP & Java) - Expert
Falls Technology is supporting a federal national-security mission by strengthening NLP and machine learning capabilities that can be delivered inside production systems. This on-site role in McLean, VA combines Python-based model development with Java and Spring backend integration, with deployment on AWS for operational use. The position is full-time and requires active TS/SCI with Polygraph and U.S. citizenship.
What you will do:
- Develop NLP capabilities usingspa
- Cy , Gensim , NLTK, and
- Hugging Face Transformers
- Create and integrate deep learning models using
- PyTorch , TensorFlow, orKerasBuild backend services inJavawithSpringandSpring Data JPA, backed byOracleandSQLDeploy solutions onAWSandLinuxusingGit , Jenkins, and
- Apache Tomcat
- Integrate trained models into operational applications and workflows
Required qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with PolygraphU.S. citizenship
