Board Certified Behavior Analyst/ BCBA Candidate
Ensures the safety and well-being of the children
Develop treatment plans for clients, individually or in group sessions, to maximize the benefits of ABA, socially and behaviorally
Complete and maintain accurate records or reports regarding the patients' histories, their progress, services provided, or other required information.
Intervene as an advocate for clients or families to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations.
Modify treatment plans to comply with changes in client status.
Participate in case conferences or staff meetings.
Plan and direct weekly team meetings
Grow clinical skills by learning and implementing new treatment approaches on a regular basis.
Participate in the quality assurance and performance improvement activities of the program.
Provide individual and group therapy to clients in community settings and engages families in the assessment and treatment processes when indicated.
Participate in the regulatory and licensure preparation activities on an ongoing basis with program leadership.
Document all assessments, treatment sessions, contacts, case management and other work done on behalf of patients according to guidelines
Discuss need for additional services with the clinical team to determine appropriateness of recommendations.
Refers patients to other levels of care, community based self-help programs for recovery or other community social or human services as needed.
Models consistent one-on-one discrete trial instruction
Participates as part of a team, which is responsible for programming the client’s total environment

Maintains the highest level of confidentiality due to HIPAA laws
Exhibits and executes proficient understanding of individualized behavior intervention plans (BIP)
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Runs monthly workshops for assigned clients
Supervises the teams of assigned clients
Develops and updates Functional Behavior Assessments and Individualized Service Plans in a timely manner (no later than 3 days) as directed by insurance plans · Approves selection of stimuli and target lists
Conducts assessments (i.e. VB-MAPP, Functional Analysis)
Develops, implements, and oversees program curriculum and behavior intervention plans
Assesses staff during the implementation of therapy
Assists in scheduling, paperwork, and training needs
Provides mentoring, guidance, feedback, and direction to the Lead Therapist (s) and Registered Behavior Technician(s)
Supervises community outings and transitions
Conducts home visits as needed
Conducts staff trainings as assigned by the Clinical Director
Maintains ongoing professional communication with parents
Conducts intakes with new students
Provides training to therapists
Complies with continuing education requirements as administered by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
Supervises 1:1 behavioral treatment for assigned clients as approved by the insurance company (i.e. 6 hours per week), including oversight of day-to-day treatment decisions
