Director Quality Engineering
Rubikk is hiring for its customer who are an IT, Digital and AI Services firm operating in NJ / NY area.Position : Director Quality EngineeringWe are looking for a Quality Engineering (QE) Leader who will operate as a sales overlay—bringing together deep QE expertise with strong client engagement and business development capabilities. This is a highly consultative, client-facing role at the intersection of technology, delivery, and growth—not a traditional back-office architect position. Integrate AI, automation, and domain expertise to accelerate delivery, reduce risk, and enable resilient, scalable digital platforms. By embedding quality across the entire software lifecycle, we help clients improve performance, enhance customer experience, and drive faster time-to-market.The ideal candidate will:· Partner with sales teams as a QE overlay to shape opportunities, influence deals, and drive revenue growth· Lead client conversations, acting as a trusted advisor and enabling last-mile deal closure· Engage directly with customers through frequent travel (up to four days a week) to present solutions and build relationships· Work with senior technology stakeholders to define and drive enterprise-wide QE strategies· Design and position end-to-end QE solutions across Automation, Performance, Security, and Next-Gen Testing, leveraging models such as Managed Services, Capacity, and Testing-as-a-Service· Identify and drive expansion opportunities within existing accounts through proactive solutions and innovation· Lead POCs and support complex implementations in collaboration with delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes· Bring strong QE technical depth with a modern, AI-first mindset, including exposure to technologies such as Python, TypeScript, Java, LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and agentic frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI)· Min 10 years of experience leading QE for mid to large sized organization.· Experience working in companies with IT services, managed services, Digital transformation or AI services background
