Forklift Operator/Material Handler

Material Handler We are searching for an experienced Material Handler at our Mankato, MN facility. Material HandlerPrimary Duties and Responsibilities:We have one position available for the following shift:1st Shift (MonThu): 6:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m.We are looking for strong candidates with proven forklift experience and a background in shipping and receiving operations. Manage daily shipping and receiving activities, including loading, unloading, and verifying incoming and outgoing materials. Pick up and deliver materials to designated areas to support production and order fulfillment. Prepare shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation. Ensure accurate inventory transactions, including material movement, job allocations, and non-conformance tracking. Maintain organized storage areas to support efficient material flow and quick retrieval. Perform cycle counts, assist with physical inventory, and communicate stock discrepancies to purchasing/supply chain. Support production as needed, including assembly, component building, and staging materials for shipment. Maintain a clean and organized workspace following 5S principles (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain). Cross-train in multiple areas to support overall warehouse and production operations. Other duties as assigned by management.Required Qualifications:4+ years of manufacturing, warehouse, or shipping & receiving experience. Proven forklift experience (required). Strong attention to detail with inventory and documentation accuracy. Ability to maintain an organized workspace and material flow. Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 4 hours at a time). Ability to read and write fluent English. Basic computer skills; MS Office experience preferred. Hourly, Non-Exempt Hourly Wage.
