School Age Coordinator

Overview We are seeking a School Age Coordinator to join our team. The Sandwich Children's Center is nature-based, with an emergent and experiential curriculum, providing play-based experiences in the natural environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and the outdoors. Responsibilities - Develop engaging & age-appropriate activities for school-age children - Supervise and ensure the safety & well-being of children - Foster a positive & inclusive environment for children to learn & grow - Collaborate with staff & parents to create a supportive community - Maintain open & effective communication with parents & caretakers Experience - Minimum of 600 hours with school-age children OR at least 3 credits in a field of study focused on children OR 5 years of parenting -Strong organizational & communication skills - Ability to work independently & collaboratively - CPR and First Aid certification preferred Hours -Part-time 1:30 to 5:30pm Join us in shaping the future of education and making a positive impact on the lives of students!
