In this role you will be leading and coaching Healthcare Named Accounts Managers, identifying, developing, and retaining high talent who deliver value to the company’s business. You will play a major hands-on role with the field sales organization in this customer-facing and highly visible position, including direct participation in closing business with key accounts. Establishing and maintaining key select customer relationships and developing the implementation of strategies for expanding the company’s customer base, will be key responsibilities for this critical position.RequirementsWhatDevelop a comprehensive strategy and set of tactics to maximize Proofpoint sales into each assigned account.Lead & develop strategies for prospecting and cultivation of all new sales opportunities.Provide oversight to team in forecasting sales opportunities accurately and achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas.Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with each respective customer / account.How7+ years of experience successfully leading high performing field sales teams spread over a large geographyPrior experience selling Security or Enterprise SaaS solutionsStrong knowledge of new and current technologies and trends specifically in the security industryStrong security industry contacts in the prospective customer and influencer communitiesOutstanding consultative selling skills and ability to clearly and effectively articulate the company’s value propositionStrong business acumen with the ability to create a business plan, build a strong business pipeline, accurately forecast and close businessExperience driving and participating in outbound callingExperience building demand generation plans with marketingExceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to conduct sales presentations and interact effectively with internal and external customers at all levelsWhy ProofpointProtecting people is at the heart of our award-winning lineup of cybersecurity solutions, and the people who work here are the key to our success.
