Previous experience in scheduling and problem-solving is ideal. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge.In addition, you will:Install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit by using appropriate hand toolsEnsure proper materials are loaded using pallets, trays, racks, and shelves when neededConvey materials from storage or work sites to the designated area using a hand truck, electric dolly, wheelbarrow, or other devices, and may occasionally operate an industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and productsEnsure all identifying tags or labels are properly attached to materials, or all identifying marks are properly used to identify information on cases, bales, or other containersProperly maintain records as required by management in the appropriate warehouse information system Receive incoming inventory and supply items, log into the company warehouse system, and stock inventory in the proper locationRead work orders, shipping orders, and follow verbal instructionsFill customer invoices, check part numbers, clean, and pack inventory itemsInspect inventory for defects, scratches, or other damageNotify Warehouse Manager of problemsFollow all company safety and accident procedures while on company premises or operating company vehicles or equipmentTrack all inventory in the appropriate system Organize and clean warehouse space and company equipment as neededReport any customer problems or concerns immediatelyCoach fellow associates on warehouse operational practices and procedures, equipment operation, and safety procedures when neededEnforce policies and procedures to ensure efficient, effective, and safe warehouse operationsEvaluate current processes and procedures, and recommend changes to warehouse managementContribute ideas on ways to reduce warehouse costs per unit and increase productivityMaintain working knowledge of warehouse data systems and perform various tasks within the systemWhen requested, deliver supplies and equipment in a timely fashion while observing all Regulated DOT and OSHA standardsQualificationsAbout You:Safety is a part of your day-to-dayYou have a track record of completing work with a high level of qualityYou have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your workYou are looking for long-term projectsYou enjoy getting your hands dirty with your teamPossess excellent verbal and written communication skillsYou have excellent organizational skills and attention to detailPossess a basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminologyYou have a thorough understanding of warehouse policies and proceduresPossess good analytical skills and the ability to make sound judgments relative to inventoryCompensation of $19-$26 per hour.Hard work pays off.
